Prairie hardware/farm-supply chain founded 1967; the original operator (Peavey Industries LP) closed all stores in February 2025. A new Alberta-based private investor group (2707162 Alberta Ltd., publicly represented by former Peavey Mart President Doug Anderson) acquired the name and IP in April 2025 and relaunched debt-free. The rollout has since reached its stated target of 7 stores (4 in Alberta opened Dec 2025; Red Deer, AB plus Assiniboia and Yorkton, SK by spring 2026), with the company stating no further openings are planned beyond that for now.
