5.0Patrick Morin is a Quebec home-improvement/building-supplies chain founded in 1960 in Ste-Marcelline-de-Kildare by Patrick Morin and his wife Denise Benny. In February 2021 the family-owned business (22 stores) was acquired jointly by Groupe Turcotte — a private group of Quebec Home Hardware Dealer-Owners led by Louis Turcotte, Daniel Gervais, and Pierre Beauchamp — with additional investment from Home Hardware Stores Limited's head office. Patrick Morin continues to operate under its own banner, led by Groupe Turcotte, with a Quebec head office. Both the operating partner (Groupe Turcotte) and Home Hardware Stores Limited itself (a Canadian dealer-owned cooperative) are wholly Canadian.
