The Boston Pizza Foundation has raised and donated over $40 million to Canadian charities since its founding roughly 30 years ago, largely through recognizable campaigns like Kids Cards and Valentine's Day Heart-Shaped Pizzas. What's more notable is a recent structural change: "Looking After Local," launched in 2023, redirects funds raised at each location to a charity in that same community — rather than pooling everything nationally — specifically in response to franchisee feedback asking for more say in where their community's donations go.
